Can Rails and PHP access the same SQL database at different times? How? -


i'm creating webpage php routinely write sql database.

is there way create ruby on rails application accesses/reads same database clicking different link on html page?

each popular database out there designed handle many requests @ same time, it's main feature , idea of databases, otherwise have terrible performance, speed , security: imagine writing/reading there, else should wait?
language tool connect , operate database: language still uses sql syntax every language ends executing sql statements in db. answer question: language doesn't matter @ all.
