asp.net mvc - Determine how many items rendered from controller -


i have asp mvc view that, @ top of page has declaration

@model ienumerable<monet.models.agenttransmission>

this view render list of type agenttranmsission on page. however, display grid based on whether or not results returned. how write conditional, in view, this? below first attempt throwing error: monet.models.agenttransmission type, not valid in context

@if (model.count<monet.models.agenttransmission> 0) {  } 

@if (model.count() > 0) {  }
