java - Can i crop .dcm images and then use them im .bmp format for my research work? -


i have database of low-dose ct images have downloaded this link, these images in format of .dcm, , not getting way read these image using burreredimage, have thought open these image using editor , crop these images , save them .bmp format further processing. correct per research purpose.
