Does the Facebook API allow for automated changes to old post visibility? -


in other words, there api allow facebook user change posts (through 3rd party app), older specified date, being visible list "friends" 1 such "only me" or "close friends"?


people increasingly adding professional , acquaintance contacts facebook friends.

it makes sense limit visibility of posts — cater different audiences.

going forward, that's easy facebook provides ample controls:

however, issue unless had set start, there's no existing function automatically change visibility of of old wall posts , photos "only me", "close friends", , on.

this poses problem, because manually going through posts one-by-one far december 2004 is not viable:
