django - Opening a user's Apple Mail to make a new outgoing message with pre-populated HTML body -


is there way provide link opens users apple mail , pre-populates email html body? know not possible mailto it's outside spec of plain/text. i'm working on django app, , i'd user able click on link open apple mail new message has html. know there security risks involved mail clients allowing more plain text, wanted see if had thoughts.
