special character different window with linux -


i have 2 projects, 1 in windows , 1 in linux. use same database both (oracle 10g),i have got input file consists of text includes special characters (Átul Ád). program logic this: read input file data database, on windows data (including special characters) displayed correct, on linux special characters display other characters. said, use same database both of them, give me help?

the program complex, uses spring batch framework. maybe encoding causes problem, have no idea how solve it. using linux first time. in advance.

i find 1 solution works me have use utf-8 encoding. windows,linux , database.
