so how groupon , other special offer focused apps? each day receive notifications groupon clear marketing content, , when open i'm redirected view big "buy" button (btw. know other live apps using push in similar way? mean not exact groupon-clone apps).

ofcourse user need have choice if wants receive such notifications or not, , (like in groupon can choose subscribed cities), privacy policy need state kind of notifications user receive. maybe frequency of notifications matter (1 per day groupon)?

app reviews rules not strict, since groupon that, advertisement platform, app expected send these kind of push notification. if, example, facebook app using push notification tell there users download other app rulle 5.6 come in play.

but other app got approved in no way mean app will, if has same functionality. answer seeking not good, since if got there app approved not mean approved.
