Should I learn node.js before starting with meteor? -


i'm coming java background, , needed app realtime data , push. i'm thinking of using meteor since seems easier way use node.js.

my question need learn node.js before starting meteor ? , meteor suitable production application (i know haven't reached 1.0, experiences think)
