javascript - Visual Studio 2005 VS Visual Studio Express 2012 -


i have pro version of visual studio 2005. (using vb.net, day , night, write windowsforms exe programs past 8 years. 100,000s lines of code.)

i have need (finally) write large amounts of code using html4, html5, javascript , css. (i've used notepad, in past.)

should download/install free visual studio express 2012 instead of using vs2005?

won't commercial/pro vs2005 version far more? can (and should) both programs installed on same machine?

(i'm using windows xp on older 2gb machine.)

you won't see "won't work xp" when download it. there's nothing vs2012e does... requires windows 7... still does. installer fails check running xp. you'll waste time downloading... making/wasting dvd... , installing... , hours of troubleshooting. thanks, microsoft!
