spring 2.5 Controllers depreciation? -


by using spring 2.5,i have done leave management project , adoptable.but in reality,many of controllers , other have been deprecated "simpleformcontroller", "multicontroller" ...so on in other verion i.e 3.0.iam little bit in secured ,does reflect project that.i know @ far,it secured ,but not sure.suggestion welcome , answers more full me gain confidence.
